Photographer Spotlight

What a better way to start of this new weekly post than with a photographer whom I’ve admired for quite some time now. Jason Levesque has a way with portraits. The frame may be standard, but the subjects are nothing but. Each one spews creativity with the most original of concepts. It could be as simple as a mouthful of gummy worms or as intricate as combining illustration later to complete the shot. And speaking of illustrations, check out his section of extremely sharp drawings.
I would love to one day do an homage shoot to the Stunt Kid. Until then, I’ll continue to be amazed by his portraits.
Photographer of the week revisited
Well….less revisited, more just ported over from my personal blog. For now, enjoy these extremely talented people I have already showcased and look forward to the new ones I will eventually get to.
Round two of the shoot went perfectly. Still thinking about getting some night shots in at a later date but these were much needed to flesh out the series.
As promised here are some colored rushes from yesterdays shoot with Nate and Elisha. Notice the incredibly beautiful lighting? That is all thanks to my good buddy Dan Gartner who carefully crafted my nonsensical ramblings into finely tuned art.
Headed out the door now to get a few more outdoor shots to complete the series!
Headed off to Nate and Elisha’s house for a domestic bliss inspired shoot I have been trying to get off the ground for a while now. Can’t wait to post some results later!
